The clouds of distrust were building over Europe. NATO security had been compromised. Several of their agents had disappeared.
Two bodies were left in NATO's parking lot. One agent, Myra MacKenna, a top cypher clerk had been kidnapped while on Easter
holiday in Lourdes, France. World tensions were rising. The question: who stood to gain...who stood to lose?
The Soviets dispatched their top agent to Lourdes to protect their interest. Latham Hoff of NATO calls on
retired CIA agent Charles Novack to find Myra.
The MacKenna Affair
Clint Griggs has woven a tale filled with mystery, intrigue, and even romance in his latest novel, "The Mackenna Affair."
You can't help but care about the well-developed characters-worry about what's happening to them, rooting for them to win-from the main players, to the villains, to the seemingly insignificant. They truly come alive on the page.
With unpredictable twists and turns, and an International flavor that makes you feel as if you're in the midst of the action, Griggs sets himself apart from other authors, and "The Mackenna Affair" kept me turning pages well into the night, wondering what would happen next.
I give this novel five stars and my highest recommendation. You will not be disappointed.
