"Mother Warned You" is adult fiction comprised of three novelettes titled "Tantrum", "Cottonmouth," and "Mike's Place". The bad guys are real bad and the good guys are from the ranks of the silent majority who do not accept the defense attorney's excuse, "The perpetrator came from a deprived home environment." Swift and just punishment is meted out with no money wasted in court charades. "Tantrum" is a departure from the traditional "good guy" stereotype, since the lead character is not very defined as to which side of the law he operates. As far as entertainment goes, it is a welcome vacation from a world of liberal lawyers putting bad guys back on the streets to become repeat offenders. Anyone with a police or military background will enjoy all three stories. For that matter, anyone who is tired of getting raped or mugged by the same people who use the court's revolving doors will like this one. It is a vicarious trip into the world of brutal reality and violent crime as it should be resolved.
