Abol Hassan Danesh received his Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside, in 1985. He was awarded tenure with promotion to the rank of Associate Professor of Sociology in 1992 from the University of Rhode Island in North America. Mr. Danesh has published several books on inequality including Corridor of Hope with the University Press of America in 1999.

He has been married to his wife, Sholeh, for the past 20 years and has two teenage daughters, Shabnam and Sheida.

Dr. Danesh's only hobby is his love for poetry and the writing of poetry. He writes every day.
